CISO-Consultant

We are looking for a driven Information Security Consultant with several years of experience who is ready to take on broader responsibilities and grow into a strategic security role.

With us, you will work closely with clients’ senior management, contribute to strengthening their security capabilities, and help build both our clients’ and our own expertise in information security.

Example assignments

Develop and implement security strategies
Support clients with risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance
Act as an advisor to management and IT teams
Lead and coordinate security projects and incident management processes
Contribute to BT Compliance’s internal security work and competence development

We are looking for someone who has

At least 5 years of experience in information security or IT security
Experience working with clients and an interest in consulting
Solid knowledge of frameworks and regulations such as NIS2, ISO 27001, and GDPR
Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English
Drive, a strong sense of responsibility, and a willingness to develop

Meriting qualifications

Previous experience as a CISO or in a similar role
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent
Experience from the public sector or critical infrastructure organisations
Previous involvement in security projects, audits, or incident management
An academic degree

Security requirements

Several of our assignments are subject to the Swedish Protective Security Act, which means you must:

Hold Swedish citizenship
Pass a security clearance process conducted prior to employment

Requirements

Swedish citizenship.
Professional proficiency in Swedish and English.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to identify and manage security risks.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Consultant within Compliance & Operational Information Security

Do you want to work at the forefront of information security?

Do you have experience in regulatory compliance and want to further develop within information security?

We are looking for someone who wants to work in a consulting capacity on assignments where operational security, risk, and governance intersect—often in close collaboration with clients’ security functions or CISO.

With us, you will combine structure, analysis, and advisory work with hands-on security activities, while developing within a team of specialists.

Examples of assignments

• Perform risk analyses and information classification

• Implement policies, processes, and governance documents

• Support organizations in regulatory compliance

• Participate in incident management and investigations

• Act as an advisory partner to security functions or CISO

• Coordinate action plans and security initiatives

We are looking for someone who has

• Approximately 5+ years of experience in roles such as project manager, test manager, DevSecOps, technical project manager, data engineer, or similar

• Experience involving regulatory compliance, information security, or IT security

• Understanding of frameworks such as GDPR, the Cybersecurity Act, and ISO 27001

• Strong ability to document and communicate security work

• A structured way of working and a consulting mindset

• Excellent Swedish and English, both spoken and written

You do not need to have held a pure security role—we value breadth and development potential.

Meritorious

Experience with SIEM, IAM, vulnerability assessments, or security testing
Certifications such as Security+, ISO 27001, or similar
